Yesterday (Thursday), seven trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered the northern Gaza Strip through a gate in the security fence. The entrance of the trucks was facilitated by the Coordination and Liaison Administration to Gaza of COGAT and was secured by IDF soldiers. The trucks underwent a meticulous security inspection by Israeli security authorities at the Kerem Shalom Crossing and contain aid from the World Food Program (WFP). The IDF will continue to allow and facilitate the entrance of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip by land, air, and sea in accordance with international law.

Even with videos of humanitarian aid entering Gaza, some will still dismiss facts in place for unfounded beliefs. Why is that?

We cannot begin to understand nor speak for those who deny the humanitarian work being done on behalf of the people of Gaza. These people want to see a genocide where one does not exist. They want people to be victimized by Israel, by a Jewish army, because it feeds a need within them.

Those who need to hate us do not want to acknowledge the existence of Israel before 29 November 1947. They would instead claim all historical records point to the land forever being Palestine while ignoring the historical record of Israel.

It is important, more important than ever, to share what the IDF is doing to allow aid into Gaza, while showing what Hamas does to that aid.
